Aprile Overview

A true account of Nanni Moretti's experiences over 2 1/2 years as chronicled in his diary. April is election time in Italy, and the film begins as Silvio Berlusconi's right-wing party comes to power, much to Moretti's disappointment. A year later, there are more elections and his wife is expecting their first child. His anxieties increase: how will he cope with a new baby? And are the left's chances any better this time around?
